Exhibition “100 Years of Multilateralism in Geneva”
Presenting unique archival materials from international organizations of the UN system, the exhibition explores the evolution of the multilateral system from the creation of the League of Nations to the work of the United Nations today. It outlines the contours of multilateralism and highlights the exceptional role that Geneva plays at the international level, while revealing some of the little-known aspects of multilateral diplomacy. The documents exhibited invite visitors both to understand the place of multilateralism in the functioning of the contemporary international system and to start thinking about its evolution and future.
The exhibition is organized in collaboration with the Fondation Martin Bodmer's exhibition "War and Peace" and the ICRC's exhibition "150 years of the International Review of the Red Cross".

Exposition « 100 ans de multilatéralisme à Genève »
À travers des archives uniques provenant des organisations internationales du système des Nations Unies, l’exposition explore l’évolution du système multilatéral depuis la fondation de la Société des Nations jusqu’aux activités de l’Organisation des Nations Unies aujourd’hui. Elle permet de cerner les contours du multilatéralisme et met en relief le rôle exceptionnel joué par Genève sur la scène internationale, tout en dévoilant certains aspects méconnus de la diplomatie multilatérale. Les documents exposés invitent les visiteurs aussi bien à saisir la place du multilatéralisme dans le fonctionnement du système international contemporain qu’à amorcer une réflexion sur son évolution et son futur.
