Time Tape
About the event:
This exhibition is a humble attempt to present a perspective on the 50-year-long “Tape of Time”.
The majority of the exhibition’s pieces are student works, borrowed from the archives of the Belarusian state academy of arts. Many of the authors, who used to be students in the 1960s-1990s, have long ago become renowned art masters and teachers.
The Belarusian “Tape of Time” presents bridges between generations, changes in styles and techniques, the creative power of these changes and, above all, the clear continuity of basic principles and values in art. The integrity of the “Tape” simultaneously testifies, in a very profound way, on the value of the concept of sustainable development.
