Opening Spirou4rights Exhibition

An invitation from the Permanent Mission of Belgium to the United Nations and other international organizations established in Geneva and from the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights

About the exhibition:

In 2018, we celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. Drafted in the aftermath of the Second World War, this founding text is just as relevant today as it was in 1948.

The Spirou magazine joins the anniversary campaign launched by the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights with a special issue in which the most talented comic authors illustrate the thirty articles of the Declaration.

An exhibition introducing these thirty articles will be showcased at the Palais des Nations. Signings by the illustrators as well as meet-ups with the Spirou magazine editorial team will be held.

Thanks to the graphic and playful character, comics are an ideal communication tool in order to convey the values of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights to the larger public.

Date:

Opening with cocktail on Monday 8 October, 2018 between 12 p.m. and 2 p.m.

Official opening: 12:30 p.m.

Vernissage exposition Spirou4rights
