A lunch discussion with Chief Economist and Senior Vice President of the World Bank, that will be held on December 10, from 12:30 to 14:00, at the Restaurant des Délégués in the Palais des Nations.
As newly appointed World Bank’s Chief Economist, Penny Goldberg will work to strengthen the Bank’s connection to state-of-the-art academic research and help shape a vision of how to achieve the Bank’s goals of sustainable growth, shared prosperity, and a world free of extreme poverty. Penny Goldberg will also oversee the 2020 World Development Report (WDR) which focuses on Global Value Chains and Development.
This discussion will cover views on the 2020 WDR and on Responsible Business Conduct in Global Value Chains.
