The 31st session of the Committee on the Protection of the Rights of Migrant Workers and Members of Their Families will take place from 2 to 11 September 2019 at Palais Wilson, in the First Floor Conference Room.

During the first week of the session, the CMW Committee will consider:

  • The second periodic report of Argentina (Monday, 2 September: 15.00-18.00 and Tuesday, 3 September: 10.00-13.00)
  • The third periodic report of Bosnia and Herzegovina (Tuesday, 3 September: 15.00-18.00 and Wednesday, 4 September: 10.00-13.00)
  • The third periodic report of Colombia (Friday, 6 September: 10.00-13.00 and 15.00-18.00)
  • meeting with States will take place on Wednesday, 4 September (15:00 to 17:00), at Palais des Nations, in Conference Room XVI.

Please note that Thursday, 5 September is a bank holiday.

All properly registered applicants should collect their ground pass at OHCHR, Palais Wilson, Security Pavilion, 52 Rue des Pâquis, Geneva, Switzerland (8:00 to 17:00). They are required to bring the confirmation of registration (which will be sent by email upon successful registration online) and present their valid passports or government issued ID (with photo).

In certain cases, such as last minute registration to the session in Palais Wilson or/and if a photo on the online registration form has not been provided, registered applicants will be requested to pick-up their badges at Pregny Gate (Palais des Nations, 8 - 14 avenue de la Paix, 1211 Geneva, Switzerland)
