The World Health Organization, Office of Internal Oversight will host an intermediate/advanced performance auditing training course. The training will be conducted by the Center for Audit Excellence (CAE) from the United States Government Accountability Office.
The training is designed to benefit organizations by enhancing performance audit capacity including strengthening internal audit process cycle as well as identifying the tools/skills required for a more effective and impactful performance audit program.
The programming will include a focus on audit planning, scoping, quality, report messaging, and recommendation follow up. Likewise, the training will focus on reporting and communications by enhancing current communications and product lines for greater impact in findings.
The training will be delivered through interactive sessions for auditors and investigators who have an audit background or credentials. Training topics will include a 2-day performance audit course, followed by courses on assessing evidence and internal controls, message and report development, and recommendation follow-up.
