Welcome to the Special Accreditation process for the Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development. In resolution 78/231 of 22 December 2023, the General Assembly decided to convene a Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development, which will take place from 30 June to 3 July 2025 in Spainto assess the progress made in the implementation of the Monterrey Consensus, the Doha Declaration and the Addis Ababa Action Agenda, as well as to address new and emerging issues in the context of the urgent need to accelerate the implementation of the 2030 Agenda and the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals

Stakeholder Participation in the Conference: 

As guided by resolution A/CONF.227/2024/PC/L.1, other relevant stakeholders, including Civil Society Organizations, Academia, Private sector and Non-Governmental Organizations NOT in consultative status with the Economic and Social Council wishing to participate in the Conference and whose work is relevant to the subject of the International Conference, MUST seek Ad-hoc Special Accreditation in order to attend by following the REGISTER NOW link at the bottom of this page.

The deadline for submitting an application is 30 April 2024.

IMPORTANT

DO NOT APPLY for this Ad-hoc Special Accreditation process if your organization has consultative status with ECOSOC, or have been accredited to Previous International Conferences on Financing for Development in Monterrey, Mexico - 2002, Qatar, Doha - 2008, and Addis Ababa, Ethiopia - 2015

Accredited entities will be informed and will receive further instruction to finalize their registration, as representatives will need to register individually to secure their participation in the event. 

Stakeholder applications will be reviewed by Member States, in accordance with the relevant GA Resolution. The name of the organization and country will be shared with the Member States, and other information, including but not limited to the homepage and/or the reason for participation may also be shared if requested.
