The participation to the sessions of the Conference of the Parties (COP) to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD) and its subsidiary bodies is by invitation only.
The sixteenth session of the Conference of the Parties (COP16) of the UNCCD will take place in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, from 2 to 13 December 2024.
In the coming months, Parties to the Convention and accredited organizations will receive an official invitation to attend the conference and nominate their representatives to take part in COP16.
The provisional agenda and the pre-session documents are available on the COP16 official documents page.
In order to assist delegations in preparing for the conference, a document entitled “Information for participants” will also be made available shortly on the same COP16 webpage.
