First Informal Drafting Group meeting for the development of a draft ministerial declaration

ESCAP secretariat decided to convene a ministerial conference on digital inclusion and transformation to accelerate the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals, and welcomed the offer of the Government of Kazakhstan to host such a ministerial conference in 2024. . In preparation, the secretariat proposes the establishment of an Informal Drafting Group for the development of a draft ministerial declaration. The first meeting is scheduled to be held in a hybrid format in Astana on 7 March 2024 and subsequent consultations will be held in a hybrid format in Bangkok.
