On 26 September 2019, the General Assembly will hold the first High-level Dialogue on Financing for Development since the adoption of the Addis Ababa Action Agenda. The Addis Agenda mandates that the High-level Dialogue be held back-to-back with the SDG Summit.
The High-level Dialogue will provide high-level political leadership and guidance on the implementation of the Addis Agenda, identify progress and emerging challenges and generate announcements and initiatives to accelerate financing for sustainable development.
Attendees representing civil society organizations must be accredited through (i) the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), (ii) the FfD follow-up process, or (iii) must be included in formal delegations of accredited organizations.
Please note that due to limited number of seats in the UN Trusteeship Council, registration alone for the event will not guarantee approval of your participation. Only registrants who have been approved and issued special event tickets will be able to attend the meeting.
