The United Nations Office at Geneva will be marking the International Day of Sign Languages on 19 September 2019 at the Palais des Nations to coincide with the session of the Committee on the Rights of People with Disabilities (CRPD). A number of activities will be organized to showcase sign languages: - 8:45 -10:00: Pop-up café with sign language lessons (Bar Serpent) - 11:30 - 12:30: Guided tour with sign language interpretation (REGISTRATION MANDATORY - LIMITED CAPACITY) (Visitors' Service) - 13:15 - 14:15: Panel discussion - "Sign Language Rights for all" (Room XVII) - 14:30 - 15:00: Theater performance in sign language - "To Sign is Human" (Room XVII)
