The Iranian Minorities and Ethnic Groups’ Handicraft Arts Gallery will be held on 5 to 15 of March 2018 by the Organisation for Defending Victims of Violence (ODVV) at the UN Headquarters in Geneva.

The aim of this exhibit is to show the harmonious relationship between different Iranian minorities and ethnic groups through the practice of traditional arts and crafts such as weaving, embroidery, pottery, needlework, mosaic, rug and carpet making.

Among ethnic groups whose craft and art pieces that will be on display include the: Azeri, Kurd, Baluchi, Lor, Kermanj, Turkmen, QashQaee, Bakhtiari and Arab.

The exhibition will be on display from 5 March to 15 March 2018.

 

About the ODVV

Organization for Defending Victims of Violence (ODVV) is a non-governmental, non-profit, non-political Organization in Special Consultative Status to the Economic and Social council of the United Nations (ECOSOC).
