Geneva Peace Week is a collective initiative facilitated by the United Nations Office at Geneva, the Graduate Institute for International and Development Studies, and the Geneva Peacebuilding Platform in collaboration with the Swiss Confederation. Since its first edition in 2014, it has become a key highlight of Geneva’s peace agenda.

Geneva Peace Week is a platform to highlight how each and every person, actor and institution has a role to play in building peace and resolving conflict. Over five days, Geneva Peace Week 2017 will be an umbrella for various events that will feature substantive and original contributions about building peace and resolving conflicts. It will also emphasize the importance of working outside the silos and enable more creative responses in a variety of contexts.
