Are you a a young activist struggling for a fairer and more tolerant society ? Do you want to make your voice heard at the UN, and learn how to use international human rights tools to make a difference for your community? Join us at the UN Forum on “Minority Youth: towards diverse and inclusive societies” on 30 November and 1st December 2017 in Geneva, Switzerland. You will get a chance to make recommendations to your government on how to include youth minorities. You will learn about the experiences of other youth minorities globally, and meet our UN expert on minority issues.

29 November 2017 will be a preparation day to the Forum. A briefing will take place in the afternoon to welcome all participants, to present the work to be achieved during the Forum and to remind the rules of procedures to be respected during the session. On the same day, the Special rapporteur on minority Issues will host a consultation with civil society organisations who wish to meet with him. Information will be provided in the timetable.

The main conference will take place on Thursday 30th November and Friday 1st December.
