The Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation, together with the Charity Foundation “Give Love to the World”, wishes to organize a photography exhibition entitled “Only Wings Matter”.
This inspiring photo exhibition called “Only Wings Matter” aims, on one hand, to help people with disabilities to believe in themselves and get involved into all spheres of life, and on the other hand, to educate the whole society that disabled persons are equal to others: they are beautiful, capable, fearless and worth the highest level of respect.
The subject of this exhibition is fully consistent with the annual HRC debate as well as the interactive dialogues with the Special Rapporteur on the rights of persons with disabilities and cultural rights. The exhibition will consist of photographies of disabled people demonstrating their strengths and capacities.
The exhibition will be on display at the Exhibition Gallery, E Building, 3rd Floor - Door 40. From 27 February to 12 March 2018.
