KARAPAT DAPAT

Organised by Permanent Mission of the Philippines to the United Nations Office and other International Organisations in Geneva

                                               

The exciting event will celebrate the 70th Anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child. The exhibition will feature the new children’s activity book "Karapat Dapat" - which translates into "worthy," "fitting" or "deserved" - from the root word "karapatan" meaning "rights".

The book was inspired by the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, a human rights treaty which sets out the civil, political, economic, social, health, and cultural rights of children.
